What this policy covers
This policy covers the Business Launch Studio website, its launch-brief and gift-note features, and information you choose to send us about a project. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@bizlaunchstudio.com.
Information entered on the website
The launch brief asks for an optional business name, your service, your starting point and your goal. The gift note asks for a recipient name, sender name and personal message. These features process the entries within the page; they do not submit them to a Business Launch Studio form database.
Our page code does not save these entries in cookies, local storage or session storage. Saving a brief downloads a text file to your device. Printing or saving a gift note uses your browser’s print controls. Your browser may independently offer autofill, saved-form or session-restoration features.
When you choose to email us
The email buttons open your email application with the selected launch or gift details in a draft. You review and send that draft in your email application. Preparing a brief or previewing a note does not automatically email it.
When you send a message, we receive the information included in it, such as your name, email address, project details, recipient information, message contents and attachments. We use this information to answer you, discuss scope and availability, arrange or provide an agreed service, maintain necessary business records and resolve questions or disputes. Do not send passwords, payment card details, Social Security numbers or sensitive personal information in a brief or gift note. Share another person’s details only when you have an appropriate basis to do so.
Gift-package payments
The gift purchase button opens an external GoDaddy checkout page. Payment and billing information entered there is handled through that checkout, not the launch-brief or gift-note forms on this website. We receive transaction information needed to administer your purchase, such as the payment amount, customer name and any payment notes. We use it to identify the order, arrange the service, maintain payment records and handle refunds or questions.
Your gift-note text is not automatically transferred to checkout. GoDaddy’s privacy notice applies within its stated scope to its checkout service.
Service providers and technical information
Website hosting and delivery systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times and security or access data when serving the site. These infrastructure processes are separate from the entries processed locally by the brief and gift-note features.
Our email addresses are set up through GoDaddy. Delivery and storage of messages involve your email provider and the email service supporting our mailboxes. Provider-specific privacy terms depend on the services used; GoDaddy’s privacy notice explains its scope and notes that third-party offerings can have separate notices.
Information may be processed by providers supporting hosting, communications or an agreed project, and may be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights or address security issues. We do not use website inquiries to sell personal information or build targeted-advertising audiences. No advertising pixels or analytics scripts have been added to the current website pages.
Retention and security
We retain messages and project records for the time reasonably needed to respond, provide services, administer the relationship and satisfy applicable accounting, legal or dispute-resolution needs. Retention depends on the record and purpose; closing this webpage does not delete an email you already sent or a file you saved.
We limit access to personal information to people and service providers who need it for those purposes and use safeguards appropriate to the information. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can browse without preparing a brief, omit optional details and choose whether to send any email draft. You can delete downloaded files and manage browser-saved information on your own device.
You may email us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we hold. Depending on your location and applicable law, additional rights may apply. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify a request and may retain records where the law permits or requires it. We will explain applicable limits when responding. We do not require you to email sensitive identity documents to make an initial request.
Children and policy changes
This website and its business services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us so we can review and address it.
We will update this policy if our information practices change. The date below the title identifies the current version. See the Cookie Policy for browser storage and hosting-related details.
